This Remembrance Day, you can show your support by making a poppy out of paper. We made a step-by-step guide for those with little to no experience in crafts. You can make this poppy as big or as small as you want depending on how you would like to use it.
- Red paper
- Green paper
Step 1: Cut a square using the red paper
Step 2: Fold diagonally to make a triangle
Step 3: Fold at the centre to make a smaller triangle
Step 4: Fold again at the centre to make an even smaller triangle
Step 5: Draw a curve from the tip of the right angle of the triangle to the centre of the hypotenuse (yes, we paid attention in geometry class)
Step 6: Cut at the curve you drew
Step 7: Unfold!!
Step 8: Repeat to make a smaller second layer
Step 9: Glue the two poppies together at the centre
Step 10: Make a little green poppy and glue in the centre
Step 11: Voila! Have a photo shoot of your creation.
